Wine Blogging Wednesday, new world pinot noir
The theme for the next Wine Blogging Wednesday has been announced: New World Pinot Noir. This international, transnational, multinational phenomenon unites bloggers to collectively review wines around a certain theme. October’s WBW is selected/hosted by Jens at Cincinnati Wine Garage.
I sat out the last WBW since the theme was pairing wine and chocolate. While I enjoy both wine and chocolate, I’m not such a fan of them together. But Pinot Noir, that’s another story…I’m sure that you have lots of faves in this post-Sideways era, so I hope you’ll join in posting your notes too on October 5.

Thanks for the posting, but I am more interested in hearing about your opinion on 2003 Cuvee de Pena. I am ripping through my 3rd case and saw in a google search that you have an opinion on this one. Please give!
And I must say that the crypto word verification is a must but at 11 o’clock at night even humans find it hard to see the magic word!

Ha! It is good stuff eh? And I’ll let you in a value tip, Jens–The 3L bag-in-a-box! Has this format made it to the great state of Ohio? It really brings the per ounce price down!
Here’s the page where I mentioned the cuvee de pena originally fyi

Now I have to do the word verification thing (reminds me of the ophthalmologist)…
