Tyler, I agree with your comment that this is a small stroke of genius on the part of the Bordelais that should be replicated by other regions. The community targeted here clearly stands to be the next generation of high-end Bordeaux drinkers. It is no secret that Bordeaux needs to invest further to regain a position in the US market and this is an excellent place to start.

I looked up Bontemps wondering if there really was a “laissez les bons temps roulet” atmosphere in such an august setting, and sure enough Bontemps is a bowl for beating egg whites to use for fining. Not that the good times couldn’t have been rolling too.
