Very good guessing all! Damien, I liked your deductive logic. Congratulations to Mike, Bill, Katie and Laurie who all nailed it as Valtellina in the northern Italian region of Lombardy. (Bill, I'll have to find some pics of that monorail!) Everyone else was really close. The producer is Ar.Pe.Pe. and I found this photo from their album on Facebook. I wrote up their delicious, entry-level Valtellina rosso here.
