This is just a battleground of who makes the money – interstate restrictions are simply protectionist policies – in the meantime true wine lovers pay the price – free market? Dream on…

The politics of wine reform isn’t promising (wine drinkers are elitists, dontcha know). The only way around this is electing more principled libertarians who will support truly free interstate commerce.

The New Yorker article about the Koch brothers maybe the scariest thing that I ever read. No matter what end of the political spectrum you find yourself on, it is certainly worth a look. You’ll probably need a good stiff drink afterwards (added to keep this on topic).

I don’t think Uncle Bill cares about the adoration of Joe Wine Sixpack. Or anyone else. He’s rich, and he knows he’s been cheated, and, being rich, just getting even won’t satisfy him. But a populist impulse as a result of his experience with Mr. Rodenstock? Don’t think so.
