I would think the appropriate pairing would be something dark and flavorful – like an old vine Zin – to get the taste out of my mouth. Then I would finish the bottle to make me forget what I just ate!

“Prairie oysters,” when I tried them, reminded me of chicken livers. (Yep, tastes like chicken.) An off-dry chenin would have been brilliant with those–although the tequila idea sounds better for that dodgy-looking stew.

I don’t even want to think about it, but I hope that people aren’t killing the kangaroos for their testicles. I watched a documentary where people found infant kangaroos and raised them to health. It was very inspiring.
