		<description>Hey Mr Taz - So glad you were there once! Hmm, volcanic soil and oregano? Sounds like quite a tasting note! I'll have to try the wines again at some point. There was good minerality in the straight assyrtiko but not sure what minerals are in the volcanic ash...

Oana - happy to solve that mystery! I just updated the post to include a link to useful page about the winery. The site also has a tremendous amount of helpful info about Greek wines.</description>

But, I do remember the volcanic soil and wild oregeno that grew throughout the hills, scenting the air.  Did either of these aspects of the terroir come through in the wine?</description>
