My parents grew up in Red Hook and I brought my sons over for a visit about 3 weeks ago. We got sandwiches at Defonte's (the best in the world) and sat down at the new pier. Before we left we bought one of Steve's Key Lime Pies (delicious) and drove around their block Pioneer Street, Visitation Church and where my mom and dad met Tickle Engineering. Long Live Red Hook!!!

No grapes?! Not true. I have to get rid of about 80 lbs (not exaggerating) of grapes every year! They are more than welcome to them!

just saw you mentioned in a recent NY Times Article: (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/09/dining/09winebars.html). I thought, where have I seen that name, Dr. Vino before. And then I remembered! In March of 2006, I referenced your wine map and you left a comment on my website! (http://virtualobscurity.com/2006/05/30/wine-wine-and-more-wine/) looks like your website has taken off, congratulations! Keep up the good work!
