In terms of quality though, much like Bordeax, it varies widely from vintage to vintage. The wines are definitely leaner and more old-world than what's coming out of Australia and Napa Valley. Unfortunately, there's only a dozen of so producers that really crank our quality wines, though at $40-$60/bottle -- that's $45-$65 USD, and most of those sell our extremely quickly and via mailing list only...
