I thought I'd seen every silly wine gadget, but apparently not. Sounds like I've got my anniversary gift picked out...

Ruarri, thanks for that nice, romantic interpretation. Somehow the plastic tubing doesn't seem quite as romantic as the chalice at Warwick, but it is a similar (more contemporary) idea.

I'd have to say that I side with Gretel though that this leans more toward the ridiculous than the sublime.

that could be one of the least useful wine accessories I've seen in a while. it's the wine equivalent of the hard hat with beer holders and feeding tubes...

In a way, I'm reminded of the story of the wedding cup, which is the symbol of Warwick Wine http://www.warwickwine.com/wedding_cup.php It's based on a story about a man who proposed marriage to a princess - and the king, trying to be creative in saying 'no' told the prince to design a cup that both could drink out of at the same time. And the prince, being as resourceful as storybook characters tend to always be - made the wedding cup. Considering I met my wife at Warwick Winery, perhaps I should invest in one of these glasses!
