I guess now when your son wonders what kind of work his dad can do from home in his pyjamas you will have something to point to. You must be very excited.

Congratulations!

Congrats, Dr. Vino! I'll send you one of my books (Building Buzz, from Career Press) to help you promote it! But I have to say that your blog audience will probably buy out the first run. http://www.AWineStory.com

PS. I mispoke. I put in for an author alert. I am confident UC Press is logging on to Amazon as I type so that they can put up an ISBN and I CAN preorder it!

Congrats, Tyler. As one Northwestern degree-holder to another, way to go! I for one have already pre-ordered it through Amazon, which frankly does amazing work flogging books that aren't yet printed. As for UC Press, they do great wine books.

And, more "joy" is yet to come: correcting page proofs, which is what I am supposed to be doing now. At least your book is on wine! (Sigh.) I recommend laying in a stash of favorites now for that task...
