I have been to one of these tasting bars with the machines you show in your post. The place I went to was in San Luis Obispo, CA. It was a non-profit setup so that the local wineries could go to this store and have their bottles added to the rotation on the kiosks. As I was impressed with the display and with the concept for local wineries, I was however disappointed with the amount of pours. Indeed the pours were small, but it was a nice concept. I prefer to go to my local wine stores where they have the meet the wine maker events to taste new wines. And there you have the human element of pouring so you will more than likely get more than a perfect 1oz pour. As for example last weekend I was making friends with the owner / winemaker and received 2 pours of the Pinot Noir and 2 pours of the Cabernet. This is something you would never get from these (cool looking) mahcines.
