I'm from Argentina, and I don't like the chandon from argentina, did you taste the sparkling wine from Familia Schroeder's winery (from Patagonia region) It's called Saurus Extra Brut, there is one from Escorihuela Gascon winery, another from Aristides, just to mention a few good ones, even better than chandon IMHO, chandon has a name and reputation, but I think that chandon slept in his fame, because to get a good chandon product you have to go to the premium line, but with the new and small wineries you can get very good products in the 5 to 7 dolars range

Bye

Alex an Argentinean Sommelier

Not a bad bubbly. I tasted a bottle in my search for a wine to review for WBW #28 and it made my short list. I bought it at World Market for a pretty good deal. $8.99 got me the regular bottle plus a half bottle in a "gift pack." We still have the regular size bottle hanging around, I should pop it in the fridge for tonight. Happy New Year!
