How bout this: rich vintner (Russell Crowe–yes, a great wine role for him) with rich wife (Angelina Jolie) hires wine writer (Eric Asimov, as himself) to kill him and put him out of his misery…Wine writer uses journalistic skills to travel Utah’s wine country and discover that everything is not as it seems.

Hey, not much, but it sure would be better than European “wine” Vacation with Chevy Chase falling in a fermentation vat in Italy and getting chased by vineyard dogs in the Rhone…
