But I gave it a tremdendous amount of opening time. This is a rosé not meant for instant quaffing and will be better in 3 years or so, and depending on the vintage, can age for 6-15 years. Château Pradeaux and Domaine Tempier are also in this category. (And that's how they justify the higher price.) So, too bad you didn't save a bottle for a years. The first time I tasted it about 4 years ago it reminded me of the contents of a drip pan after an oil change. The Sunday Times report that the trendy set loves it only confirms my lack of interest. I've been drinking quite a bit of Rose lately and was interested in your reviews of these wines. I especially like Buoncristiani's 2005 Rosato that is made with Syrah grapes. Very easy drinking.
